Def Leppard drummer Rick Allen was interviewed by 98.7 radio last week and he talked about the next studio album.
Rick was promoting the 9th August show in Sunrise, FL but went on to talk about the recent studio work done in California with Phil and Vivian.
In a five minute interview Rick talked about the Rock Of Ages movie, touring with Poison and Lita Ford, says the band are going to use ex-lighting designer Phay McMahon again on this tour, his art collection, the band's side projects, new album plans, Lady Gaga, and his favourite Def Leppard song of all time (he chooses 'Rocket').

Any plans for a new Def Leppard album?
"Yeah, I spoke to Phil yesterday and actually we're in the studio today. And he's gonna be playing me some ideas that he's come up with for our next studio album. So I'm excited to hear them."
What is the process of putting a new album together?
"Yeah it sort of goes around the houses. You know, it'll be an idea is born and somebody else will pass it - or somebody else will add their own bits to it. And it just gets passed down the line until you know it either ends up with me and I go well I can't do anything with it and I'll pass it back to Joe - kind of thing."
