There are 10 days to go until Def Leppard begin their 2011 UK Tour with Motley Crue in Birmingham.
The second UK headline tour by Def Leppard took place in July 1981 to promote the 'High 'n' Dry' album. The band played 12 shows starting in Bristol and ending in London with their first headlining performance at Hammersmith Odeon. As with the 1980 tour only one show was played outside of England in Edinburgh. The band continued to play all Scottish shows in that city until their return to Glasgow in 1992.
On 22nd July in Liverpool the band filmed the three live promo videos for the album including 'Bringin' On The Heartbreak' and 'Let It Go' which were both released as singles. These would prove to be the last UK shows with Pete Willis in the band alongside fellow original member Steve Clark.
