Vivian Campbell was recently interviewed by Gibson Guitars and spoke about Thin Lizzy and the next Def Leppard studio album. He also confirmed he will have to leave the Lizzy line up before they tour together in June and will not be playing with them in Belfast/Dublin/Download.

Def Leppard has a big tour this summer. Will the band be writing and demoing songs on the road for a new studio album, like you guys did for The Sparkle Lounge album?
"Yes we will. It's our intention to release a full album of new songs in 2012, and in order to do that we'll have to be writing as we go this summer."
