News - Phil Collen Interviewed By The Examiner

Tuesday, 25th January 2011 |

Phil Collen was interviewed at NAMM by The Examiner and commented on the new live album and tour. He stated that the tour will now begin in late May and that the live album and DVD will be part of the same package. This was hinted at by Vivian in a recent interview when talking about Thin Lizzy possibly joining the bill at the Slane Castle show on 28th May in Ireland (headlined by Kings Of Leon). Vivian said the Lep tour will start within a few days of that show.

Phil goes on to talk about Man Raze and his new record label Moodah Music. C. J. Vanston has remixed the new Man Raze song 'I, Superbiker'. Watch the video clips below.

The Examiner - Phil Collen Interview Quotes

"We're just finishing up our new album or new tracks. It's gonna be like a combination of live tracks, live DVD and all new studio tracks. That's almost done and I was actually working on that last night and I send it out. Joe Elliott and Rick Savage are in Dublin. They're working on it and we can do it all at the same time as opposed to just all being in the studio. So we get a lot more done like that because we've been together for so long we know exactly how to do that so for us it works a treat."

"And then we'll probably go on tour in May. It's the end of May I think."

And the records out in May?

"Yeah."
