Phil Collen was interviewed by ABC News Radio and spoke about the upcoming live album and tour plans.
He also describes the sound of the three new studio songs set to be included.

According to Collen, Leppard will "kick off on tour in June." They'll start in Europe after rehearsing in Ireland and then "do a couple of festivals" before heading to the U.S. Leppard's tour will also compliment their live CD/DVD which will be released this year. Collen said the reason it's taken the band so long to release a live album is because "We're lame." He added, "We've got all this material sitting around and this one was from the last few years so it's about time."
Also included on the live album are three new songs. While Collen didn't give any song titles, he described each song individually. One is described as "really anthemic" while another "sounds like it should have been on the [1987] Hysteria album. And we got this epic, not a ballad, but this kind of epic, over the top vocal, guitar song."
