Def Leppard have this morning announced a UK tour for December to end their 2011 Mirrorball world tour alongside Motley Crue. The much rumoured tour was announced at 9am today on UK radio and now listed on Ticketmaster/venue sites.
The band will play six arena shows (so far) across England and Scotland including their home city of Sheffield. This will be the band's first UK tour since June/July 2008 on the Songs From The Sparkle Lounge tour. It follows the dates already played on this tour in Belfast, Dublin and the Download festival at Donington in June.
Tickets are on sale from 9am Friday 2nd September and priced 45 pounds. View the dates below.
As mentioned in recent weeks support will come from special guests Motley Crue and Steel Panther.

Tour Trivia - Motley Crue first supported Def Leppard on 17th September 1983 at Jack Murphy Stadium in San Diego in front of 55,000 fans. They also played below Def Leppard on 16th July 1999 at Rock Fest in Cadott, WI. Vivian Campbell toured as support to Motley Crue from June-October 1987 on the 'Girls, Girls, Girls' tour as part of Whitesnake.
