Holmdel, NJ - Fan Reviews

Fan Review - By Sean Patrick - 103.7 the Shark - Atlantic City

What an amazing show. Place was packed. Cheap Trick opened the show and though the place was pretty empty, they rocked the joint. By mid show, the place was more then half full. Changed a few songs from the opening night. Cheap Trick as always, was solid.

Poison. I've seen Poison several times since '99 and this show was by far the worst. Bret Michaels voice was brutal. The sound was a bit too loud. They changed one song from the opening night. I Won't Forget You out and Something to Believe In in the set and it sounded horrible. I like Poison a lot, it just wasn't good.

Def Leppard. Like I've said before, the background screen is fantastic. It brings so much to the show. The set was the same as opening night except Nine Lives and Too Late were out and Foolin and Cmon Cmon were in. The band sounded great. PNC Arts Center has such great sound. You couldn't even here the band sing the chorus to Animal, Photograph, and Armageddon It because the crowd was so loud. Sugar sounded extra good for some reason. Another stellar night. Closed with Lets Get Rocked. The band was on.

Fan Review - By Stephanie

This show was absolutely incredible. It was my first time seeing Cheap Trick & Poison but it was my second time seeing Def Leppard. The PNC was very nice, much larger than I thought. I thought Cheap Trick was good, but they were very loud. Many people are saying that they didn't like Poison and that Brett Michael's voice was bad, but for it being my first time seeing them, I thought they were pretty good. When Def Leppard's opening started, people were still walking around - getting drinks, food, etc. It was like it was so sudden, but I remember everyone just looked and each other and started to rush to their seats. They exploded onto the stage with Rock Rock! Till You Drop, which I think was a fantastic idea for a show opener. The guys looked great and they sounded better than last year in my opinion. All in all, it was such a great show and everyone seemed to have a lot of fun.
