It was opened in June 1972 as Pine Knob Music Theatre.
Since 2001 it has been known as DTE Energy Music Theatre.
The 2016 'And There Will Be A Next Time...Live From Detroit' concert film was recorded at this venue.
As in 2006/2007 another show played here on the 24th July.
'TLFL' and 'Nine Lives' were again alternated with 'C'mon C'mon' and 'Foolin''.
