The venue is located in the city centre in the islington area of London and within the N1 shopping centre.

It was opened in September 2002 as Carling Academy Islington.

It has since be renamed as O2 Academy Islington and also contains a second venue called O2 Academy 2 with a smaller capacity of 250.

An exclusive club show for fans/industry people with a small capacity of just 800.

The show was recorded and filmed with footage used in the 'C'mon C'mon' promo video.

For this slightly shorter exclusive club show the band played a varied and rocking setlist.

The rarely played 'Wasted' was one of two songs added on as an extra unplanned encore.

New songs 'C'mon C'mon', 'Hallucinate' and 'Bad Actress' were played at a full show for the first time after being tried out at the Jimmy Kimmel show in the USA recently.

'Mirror, Mirror' was played for the first time in the UK since December 1983.

'Action' and 'Bad Actress' from this show were released on the 2011 live album Mirrorball on CD2.
