Def Leppard Tour November 08, 2006 By fsukxaz

Def Leppard and Journey rocked the Jacksonville Memorial Arena in Jacksonville 10-08-06. Journey's new lead singer was excellent, although not Steve Perry. Neil Schon and the rest of the boys sounded great and I was amazed at how good they sounded. Lots and energy. Def Leppard played next and played to a good packed house. They were here just last year, but everyone paid to see them again. They rocked a lot more than they did last year with less reliance on shitty ballads while playing more of the hard stuff. That of course made me happy. The light show was outstanding. I also enjoyed the slideshow of them back in the day.

I scalped a ninth row floor seat seat for $45. I was just left of center stage about 9 deep. That's why I got such great pictures. Then again I'm always up near the front somewhere. My favorite song "Coming Under Fire" was not played (and never is, Def Leppard you suck for that). Southern Comfort was in full swing as usual. What a terrific Wednesday night and 38 pictures came out awesome!.

Journey played for an hour and a half and Def Leppard played for two hours. Def Leppard played almost all their hits like "Pour Some Sugar On Me", "Let It Go", "Bringin' On The Heartbreak", "Armageddon It", "Foolin", "Rock Of Ages", "Hysteria", "Photograph", "Animal" "Slang", and 'Rocket". They didn't play "Coming Under Fire" or "Too Late For Love" like I'd hoped, but they played extremely well. They played one encore. It was definately better than last years show in Jacksonville,FL. Plus we got to see Journey too as an added bonus.
