I drove 10 hours from Ohio to get to the Raleigh show and it was worth every second of it. It was by far the best show I have been to so far this tour. It was so cold I could see my breath! Anyway..Ricky came out and did his usual set, although he did change his story that he tells!

At precisely 8:30....Disintegrate starts and we go crazy! I am in the front row directly in front of Sav and Viv...They start out with the High n Dry songs and as they finished Switch Viv was looking right at me ..I pointed at him and gave him 2 thumbs up! He is so awesome and I had a blast sitting in front of him! Then they went on to Foolin' and then they did Make Love Like A Man! I love this song! After this I think the set list was pretty much the same.

When Joe came out with his acoustic he started playing Sweet Home Alabama and a string broke..he was like oh well I'll play with one short. He was going to throw the string into the crowd if we promised it wouldn't end up on eBay but his guitar tech guy wouldn't let him. He kept trying to give Joe a different guitar but Joe kinda was ignoring him. That was funny! He dedicated Long Long Way To Go to the troops as usual and it got a great response.

I think at every show the best response from the crowd is when they introduce Rick Allen..who of course is doing the Power Smoke.LOL! Joe kept commenting on how cold it was. He said Damn my nose is cold and I'm up here under the lights. He told us he would try to warm us up! (trust me Joe you did). Phil took a long time to take his shirt off. I'm surprised he did at all.... It was almost the end of the show. At one point Joe spotted some guy a few seats down with a cowboy hat on. It was leopard print with a skull on it. Joe asked him for it and put it on...then he described the guys outfit..leather pants , black sparkly shirt and that hat!

During Love Bites...something was wrong with Sav's guitar..he kept looking over at his tech and saying WTF! Don't know what was wrong because at this point I was almost deaf! I was in front of a speaker! After the show..I got a wave from the bus from Viv and then my night was over!.
