New York, NY - Fan Reviews

Fan Review - By Daryl

HOLY SH*T, they started off with Ring Of Fire!!! First time that I know of in 2003 that they played it so far. They kept it going with Action, Stagefright, Bringin' On The Heartbreak, and Switch 625. Joe said after the first 5 or 6 songs that since they were there three nights in a row, we were getting the songs that the first two nights didn't get.

The sound was simply amazing. I've read in a few of the other reviews that their sound was better than ever. Those reviews were absolutely right, They sounded better than I've ever heard them. They dedicated Long Long Way To Go to the US and British Troops fighting over in Iraq. It was sad to say, but there were a lot of people that either sat down in their seats or left for the bathroom during this song. It was great to see Slang back in the setlist as well. I was looking around during that song and there were a lot of people singing it. That was cool.

They played for a little over two hours. Their energy level never went below 110%. Although they played the same old songs that they have been playing since the Hysteria days, you never get sick of hearing them. The crowd was into the show the entire time. I have seen them five times in the past 11 years and this was by far the best performance that I have seen. They say things get better with age, well they were right.
