Des Moines, IA - Fan Reviews

Fan Review - By dEfLiGhTnInG

This was an awesome show! The band was energetic and the new songs went down really well. The crowd was kinda lame, but they were all singing during Rock of Ages! The best part of the show was when somebody threw a bra up onstage and Joe picked it up, saying, "Will the owner of this please see me after class?" then hung it on the microphone. "Jees, you're gonna give us a bad reputation. F--kin' crazy!"

'Bringin' On the Heartbreak' was when the crowd first showed a little life, lighters lifted high. 'Slang' was cool to see live. The band looked like they were having a ton of fun, but none of the audience knew the words. I lost my voice during 'Women' and got it back during 'Rock of Ages'. This show was downright incredible and I hope to see the Leps again ASAP!!!.

You can't get much better than to spend your Saturday night with Def Leppard sitting in front row! The intro song 'Disintegrate' followed by Let It Go really starts the night out rockin' hard!

On this evening, Joe is wearing a faded a faded pair of blue jeans with a sleeveless Abercrombie shirt. Sav is wearing purple and grey checkered pants with a sleeveless shirt that says "glam" on it. Phil is wearing all black, shirt promptly removed somewhere in the first song or two. Vivian is wearing blue jeans with a red and black speckled shirt. Rick Allen is wearing his usual T-shirt and shorts, barefoot.

Around half way through the show they played 'Slang', which was a real treat! Around that time is when the underwear and bras went flying. Joe picked up each one and draped them over Phil and Vivian's microphone stand. He also picked up a blue feathered bra, swung it around a few times and placed it on his own microphone stand.

Things got good in front row towards the end of the show when first Sav stood directly in front of my friend and actually posed for a picture during 'Animal', then Joe came over and looked directly at me while singing an entire verse of 'Let's Get Rocked!' Shortly after that, Phil comes over, smiles, then leans over to slap hands with us!

Although I can't comment on how the rest of the audiences' reaction to the show was, being in first row, all I can say is, it was absolutely stunning!.
