Charlotte, NC - Fan Reviews

Fan Review - By Laura

I've seen this band seven times and they have rocked every time. This show was definitely better than the 2000 show. The interaction with the crowd was better, and I enjoyed it more. The song line up was great, although I really was hoping to hear more off of the new album. It was almost like listening to the "Vault" cd with a couple of "X" songs thrown in. As always, though, they rocked!

Everyone knows that teenagers are hard to please and I took my sixteen year old with me. They are doing something right because she looked at me when it was over and said that she could have listened to them another couple of hours!

Keep Rockin' Boys! You'll always be the best!

The Charlotte, NC show was great. Fantastic crowd size and LOUD!!! No one in the place sat down for the whole show. Nothing better than dancing and singing along (and screaming) for two hours to make a memorable night.

The band looked and sounded awesome. Lots of energy and working the crowd. You could tell that they appreciated our response.

They opened with 'Let It Go' and ended with 'Let's Get Rocked'. Nothing from Slang (bummer) but 3 from X. I've been a fan since the early 80's and still love these guys... they give a great show for their fans. Highly recommended...;)

This was what..? my 50th plus show seeing this band?? Could be.. but NOT the last time.

Malvin came out before Ricky Warwick to welcome him & Charlotte to this show and made this funny comment to the people.. most notably the woman who were in the lawn area of the amphitheatre to be careful that the ground was wet from overnight rain and to take off your clothes and roll around in the mud and to see him afterwards.. Malvin was too much.. got to see him briefly as he was strolling the seating area.

ANYWAY.. Ricky Warwick was quite good.. much surprising.. the crowd was gracious in their applause as well.

THE BAND.. intro: Disintegrate.. then blasting into Let It Go and thinking.. WONDERFUL .. HnDry montage.. WRONG! Let it Go.. Rock! Rock! and MLLAM..then BOTH and Switch.. oh well. Pyro favs played: Rock Rock..Photograph..Too Late..Foolin..Roa Hysteria favs played: Women..Rocket..Animal..Sugar..Armageddon It.. Hysteria Adrenalize: MLLAM..LGR Euphoria favs played: Promises X : NOW.. FLW..and LLWTG.. no YSB??? What was missing was OTTN and SLang.. hummmm..Let's see.. I am not too fond of LLWTG live .. though I see FLW and NOW as future staples of any tour by this band.

Two Steps Behind and Rocket both received HUGE responses from the crowd as well as Joe..Phil & Sav doing a montage of Lynyrd Skynryrd.. Sweet Home Alabama..as we are in the South...uh huh...crowd went nuts!

My ONLY disappointment was the encore.. I wish the band would change this to OTHER songs.. besides Love Bites & Let's Get Rocked as some in the crowd were NOT so receptive to EITHER one.. including myself.

Overall.. super performance..band looked wonderful and seemed to have so much fun out there.. despite the crappy weather down here in the South.. sorry boys.. hope to have better weather next time.
