Def Leppard @ Music Midtown By Rodney Hoa
As the final rays of sunlight bid Music Midtown farewell, Def Leppard bid Atlanta a hearty hello with a ripping version of "Let it Rock" from the Pyromania CD. No pyro to start, but dry ice and lead singer Joe Elliot running around the stage in a T-shirt with Slash of Guns-n-Roses in portrait. The huge, densely packed crowd lapped up every drop from what is arguably the biggest hair metal band of the '80s.

Def Leppard @ Music Midtown By Albany Herald
After Ben Harper finished his performance at the 99X stage around 7:30 p.m. Sunday, there was a mass exodus away from the typically crowded stage ... even though headliner Zwan was scheduled to play next. The reason? Folks were more interested in seeing the legendary '80s veterans. The Leppards didn't disappoint, taking an adoring crowd back a couple of decades with hits like "Hysteria" and "Pour Some Sugar on Me.".
