  • Location / Detroit/Clarkston, MI, USA
  • Venue / DTE Energy Music Theatre

The first show by the band in this city August 1999 on the first leg of the Euphoria tour.

The fifth time at this venue.

The venue is located in the city of Clarkston which is 42 miles North West of Detroit and within the Pine Knob Ski Resort.

It was opened in June 1972 as Pine Knob Music Theatre.

Since 2001 it has been known as DTE Energy Music Theatre.

The 2016 'And There Will Be A Next Time...Live From Detroit' concert film was recorded at this venue.

Support act The Unband were unable to make this show so the band played longer and in fact one of the longest shows of their career at this point in terms of the number of songs played.

Almost a taste of things to come on the 2002/2003 'X/Ten' world tour.

The added songs included 'Wasted', which had been very rarely played in the USA since 1983.

'Let It Go' was also added to the setlist.

Regular encore song 'Love Bites' was not played.

A decent quality audience recording exists from this show.
