- Location / Tangier, Morocco
- Venue / Grottes d'Hercules / Hercules Cave
- Event / 3 Continents In A Day/Vault Album Launch
The first show by the band in this city and country.
The first time at this venue.
The venue is located 7 miles to the West of the city centre within the Achakar campground in Cape Spartel by the coast.
The cave is not a traditional concert venue but an "archaeological cave complex" first opened in 1930.
Tangier is in the same time zone as the UK and this show started at midnight GMT/UK time.
The first of three acoustic shows to promote the 'Vault Greatest Hits 1980-1995' album which was released on the same day.
A world record attempt to play three shows in three different continents on one day.
The start of the show was delayed by 30 minutes due to a power outage which prompted Joe to introduce the first show with:
"Sorry about the delay folks. Apparently somebody forgot to put a shilling in the meter.".
An average quality audience video exists of the day long trip (Tangier/London only) and features some full songs and also brief clips of other songs from the three shows.
Joe briefly wore a Fez (hat) during 'YCAGWYW'.
