The first show by the band in this city since February 1984 on the Pyromania tour.
The first time at this venue and first of two nights here.
The venue was located in the city centre and close to Darling Harbour and not far from the newer ICC Sydney Theatre played by the band on 2018.
It was opened in May 1983 as Sydney Entertainment Centre.
From 2014 to 2015 it was named as Qantas Credit Union Arena.
The venue closed for good in December 2015 not long after the band's final show here.
It was demolished in January 2016.
The band and crew members took part in a charity football match the day before at St. George Stadium in the Banksia area of the city next to Sydney International Airport.
MTV Australia filmed a short feature on the event including an interview with Joe.
The pro photographer photos linked below reveal Sav wore a custom Adrenalize cut off T-Shirt with Def Leppard changed to "Ded Flat Bird".
He had been wearing this Adrenalize top throughout the Australian tour.
The name was later used during the 2013 VIVA! Hysteria residency in Las Vegas, NV as the band name when they opened for themselves.
It originated from 1990 when Phil Collen's wife was asked by a nurse what band her husband played in.
She misheard the band name and asked 'Ded Flat Bird?'.
