Prev  |  Next
  • Location / Sheffield, England
  • Venue / Sheffield Arena

A second show in the band's home city.

The second time at this venue and second of two nights here.

This second night was added to the tour after strong sales of the initial five dates announced.

A second show was also added in London and a third night added in Birmingham.

The venue is located to the North of the city centre and not far from where the Don Valley Stadium used to be.

It was opened in May 1991 as Sheffield Arena by Queen Elizabeth II and first played the same day by Paul Simon.

From 2003 to 2007 it was known as Hallam FM Arena.

From 2007 to 2010 and 2015 to 2017 it reverted to Sheffield Arena.

From 2010 to 2015 it was called Motorpoint Arena Sheffield before its current name of FlyDSA Arena since 2017.

There were no sound issues on this second night and 'Love Bites' returned to the set.

A high quality soundboard recording exists from this show along with a decent quality audience filmed video.

The audio recording is one of the best from the 1992/1993 tour.
