  • Location / Philadelphia, PA, USA
  • Venue / The Spectrum
  • Event / An evening with Def Leppard

The first show by the band in this city since September 1988 on the Hysteria tour..

The sixth time at this venue and first of two sold out nights.

The venue was located to the South of the city centre near the Naval Yard area and the border with New Jersey across the Delaware River.

It was opened September 1967.

The venue was closed in October 2009 and then demolished from November 2010 to May 2011.

It was opened as The Spectrum and then became the CoreStates Spectrum from 1994 to 1998, First Union Spectrum from 1998 to 2003 and finally the Wachovia Spectrum from 2003 to its closure in 2009.

The venue site is now Parking Lot G and used by the surrounding venues.

The whole band were interviewed for an MTN News Report on the start of the US tour at this show with short clips of various songs included (see Photo Galleries).

A decent audience recording exists from this show with 'Photograph' not included.
