  • Location / Glasgow, Scotland
  • Venue / Hall 4 @ Glasgow SECC

The first show by the band in this city since April 1980 on the On Through The Night tour.

The first time at this venue.

The venue is located in the city centre by the River Clyde and is part of a group of four large exhibition halls.

The complex also now includes the SEC Armadillo venue and The SSE Hydro arena.

It was opened in September 1985 as the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre or SECC for short.

Since 2017 it has been renamed as the SEC Centre.

MTV Europe News featured fotoage from the Dublin show at the time and wrongly labelled it as being from Glasgow.

It was actually filmed at The Point in Dublin and was also used in various TV specials broadcast by MTV and Italian TV.

A decent quality audience recording exists from this show including GUN, who went down very well in their home town.

The first audience recording made of the main world tour.
