  • Location / East Rutherford, NJ, USA
  • Venue / Brendan Byrne Arena/Meadowlands

The first show by the band in this city since October 1987 on the first US leg of the tour.

The third time at this venue and first of three sold out nights here.

The venue is located in the East Rutherford area of New Jersey and within the Meadowlands Sports Complex,

It stands not far from the 82,500 capacity MetLife Stadium (formerly Giants Stadium) and is just 10 miles to the west of New York City.

It was opened in July 1981 as the Brendan Byrne Arena. It was also known unofficially as the Meadowlands or Meadowlands Arena.

The venue was then named as Continental Airlines Arena from 2007 to 2015 before renaming as the IZOD Center until its closure in April 2015.

Since closing as a venue the arena has reverted to the name Meadowlands Arena and it used for rehearsals by bands and for TV production.

The same setlist was played on all three nights and all shows taped by audience members.

Joe Elliott's parents attended one or more of these shows.

Phil fell over during his guitar solo for 'Foolin'' on one of the nights.
