  • Location / Leicester, England
  • Venue / De Montfort Hall @ University Of Leicester

The first show by the band in this city since April 1980 on the On Through The Night tour.

The third time at this venue.

The venue is located to the South East of the city centre and within the grounds of the University Of Leicester and not far from the city's main train station and the King Power football stadium home to Leicester City F.C..

It was opened in 1913.

Most of the adverts and posters for the tour printed the venue name incorrectly as 'De Montford Hall'.

The band played the Auditorium setup with 2,200 capacity.

'Hysteria' again left out of the set.

Joe Elliott's mother attended this show.

He dedicated 'BOTH' to her during its introduction.

This happened shortly after a blown up condom floated up on stage and was then burst by a band member much to the amusement of the crowd.

A decent quality audience recording exists from this show.
