The first time at this festival.

The festival was held over four days from 27th to 30th January. The only other event held was in 1983.

The venue is located in Somersby (in the Gosford area) which is 10 miles to the north west of Narara and 34 miles north of Sydney.

There was a torrential downpour during Leppard's set with the event having to be called off soon after.

Allniters were due to headline after Australian Crawl (who were to have followed Def Leppard). Both bands had to cancel their sets due to the weather conditions.

The band talked about this on a TV show the following weekend.

In one of the media pictures Phil is seen playing Sav's bass suggesting the band ended their set as normal with 'Travellin' Band'.

The regular 15 song setlist would have had at least 4 or 5 songs cut from it due to the shortened set time.
