The first show by the band in this city since September 1981 on the High 'n' Dry tour.

The first time at this venue and first of two shows here in 1983.

The venue is located downtown area of the city centre and is part of the Greater Columbus Convention Center.

It was a few block s away from the newer 20,000 capacity Nationwide Arena.

It was opened in September 1980 as Ohio Center with the name eventually changed to Battelle Hall.

It was printed on the tickets as Ohio Center.

According to local news reports ticket sales at the venue on 25th May were stopped by the police when up to 3,000 fans started to cause trouble as temperatures hit 1000 degrees.

One fan was stabbed after this show and up to 59 arrests were made.
