The first time at this venue and fair.

The venue is located in the city centre and within the Allentown Fairgrounds which is home to The Great Allentown Fair.

The festival has been running each year since 1852.

The fair also includes Grandstand concerts.

The band were photographed backstage and on stage by Ross Halfin with a number of photos posted in rock magazine and also in the 'Animal instinct' biography.

The iconic shots of the band wearing their Union Jack shorts and T-shirts came from this show.

On the day of this show the band attended a charity football match at the 15,000 capacity J. Birney Crum Stadium to play against a team made up of players from the Pennsylvania Stoners team and the local WZZO-FM radio station.

The stadium is just two streets away from the Allentown Fairgrounds.

The band and crew won 3-2 and this would be the first of many charity matches they would play on future visits.

The game attracted a crowd on 1,006 people with money donated to a local animal charity.

Photos of the band in their football kits were used on the back cover of the 'Too Late For Love' UK promo single.

A shown in the Photo Galleries section the band sang to the crowd (probably an anthem) at this event.
