The first show by the band in this city since July 1980 on the On Through The Night tour.

The first time at this venue.

The venue is located near the Nassau Community College in the Hempstead area of Long Island. And close to a housing estate with a name Joe Elliott would approve of called 'Mott Section'.

It was opened in February 1972.

The venue was expanded in 1976/1983 and 2017.

It was renovated from 2015 to 2017 and then opened initially as 'The New Coliseum Presented By NYCB' and officially opened by Billy Joel on 5th April 2017.

The name has since been updated to 'NYCB Live, Home of The Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum'.

The seven songs indicated on the right were included on the audience recording.

Then ex-Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry supported at this show with his band The Joe Perry Project (Joe Perry: lead guitar/vocals, Ronnie Stewart: drums/percussion, Charlie Farren: rhythm guitar/vocals, David Hull: bass/vocals).

Joe had left Aerosmith in 1979 until rejoining in 1984 with Brad Whitford who had also left.

They were supporting their 2nd album "I've Got The Rock 'n' Rolls Again".

With the additional support act in the Special Guest slot the band cut their usual nine song setlist down to seven with 'It Could Be You' and 'It Don't Matter' both left out.

A decent quality audience recording exists from both Def Leppard and Ozzy Osbourne's sets.
