East Troy, WI - Media Reviews

Ozzy Osbourne/Def Leppard @ Alpine Valley By Milwaukee Sentinel

Although overshadowed by Osbourne's charismatic performance, British thunder-rock group Def Leppard managed to crash through a screeching set that only had one weak point.

It was a scant 40-minutes long.

Lead singer Joe Elliott electrified the audience with power vocals that rose above the group's thick web of guitar and bass.

Drawing most of the crowd to its feet with high-voltage versions of 'It Could Be You', 'It Don't Matter' and 'Another Hit And Run'.

With Elliott in command, Def Leppard relentlessly hammered the crowd, not letting up for a second while running through rapid fire pieces such as 'Let It Go' and 'Wasted'.
