A carfull of crazies in Atlanta, Georgia got their jollies when they spotted Rick Allen and Cliff Burnstein hitch-hiking into town from a local hospital where Rick received treatment for a touch of clap. "We radioed for a cab at the hospital, but it never came," Cliff remembers. "So we thumbed it. Some wild kids picked us up and they went 'Hey. man, you're the drummer with Def Leppard.' These rednecks had driven two hundred miles to see the gig, in this car that was ready to fall apart at any minute. They will always remember that, having Rick Allen in the back of their car, hitch-hiking."
