  • Location / Edinburgh, Scotland
  • Venue / Tiffany's

The first show by the band in this city, the capital of Scotland.

Another show on the six week UK club tour with Witchfynde and local acts in support.

The venue was located in the New Town area of the city near the Saint Stephen's Church.

The first time at this venue which was formerly called Grand Cinema and Cinderella Rockerfella's in 1982.

The building was first opened in 1920. It closed down after a fire in April 1991 to be replaced by flats.

It hosted concerts in the 60s and 70s and up until at least May of 1981.

The first show of 1980 to be recorded by fans with 11 songs included from the debut album plus an E.P. track and the B-Side 'Good Morning Freedom' which featured a mid-section drum solo by Rick Allen.

After the band singed to Phonogram in August 1979 Rick attended just two lessons with a tutor in Edinburgh before ditching school altogether.

The lessons had been arranged so he could finish his studies by attending two days of classes a week with a tutor in this city. By September he had stopped going and gave up studying for good.
